1000m+ per day

You can expect to be climbing to over 1000m of elevation a day with the average tour lasting 4 – 6 hours. Most routes are a gentle to medium gradient with plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views. A Taste of the Trip

Day 1 – Bladet: 1200m

This tour is a steep ski at the mouth of the HjorundFjord . It takes about 6-8 hours and is one of the most challenging yet stunning tours available. The distinctive needle top lies to the right of both summits – Mohns and Randers. The view from Bladet is one of the finest in Norwegian Fjord Skiing. This is one of the reasons why it was recently voted in Norway’s top 5 ski tours by the Norwegian Mountain Guide Association.

Day 2 – Slogan: 1564m

This is a one way ski over the mountains on the east side of HjorundFjord to be dropped off and picked up at the other side in with a total trip time of 7-9 hours. This tour takes you into the heart of the Sunnmore Alps and is one of the most outstanding summits in the Alps. The pyramid-style shape of Slogan, which is visible from the Fjord, makes it one of the Sunnmore’s most memorable and distinctive mountains.

Day 3 – Skåraslen: 1542m.

This one way ski over the mountains on the west side of HjorundFjord allows guests to be dropped off and picked up at the other side in with a total trip time of 6-8 hours. This tour also belongs to the elite top 5 group as voted for by the Norwegian Mountain Guides. The view from the summit is one of the most spectacular views, with panoramic outlooks over the Hjorundfjord and the Sunnmore Alps.

Day 4 – Rest day

This steep ski on the west side of HjorundFjord, is a trip total of 5-7 hours. This peak is identifiable by the distinct bowl facing north. This is one of the most weather dependent tours but also one of the best tours for steep skiing. There are a variety of anchorages and piers where we spend the night depending on where we find the best snow at that time.

Day 5 -Sykkvsfjord

This one-way ski over the mountains from SykkylvsFjorden to HjorundFjord, is a trip of 7 -10 hours with the welcoming sight of the Gassten anchored at the pub at the end. We will drop you in Skyyvsfjord and you will ski traverse over the mountains to the Hjorundfjord where the boat will be waiting to collect you.
