This should serve as  a base guide for what to pack. Please contact us if you have further questions.

  • Walking boots – make sure these are broken in well before the trip and have a good vibram sole or equivalent.
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers –  Goretex or similar
  • Walking trousers – make sure you have tried them out before your holiday
  • Several polo shirts/T- Shirts or specialist walking shirts
  • Warm Fleece Jacket
  • Several pairs of comfortable walking socks
  • Warm Hat and Gloves
  • Sun hat
  • Sun Glasses
  • Shorts – these could removable from your trousers.
  • Lip salve
  • High SPF sunblock
  • Day Pack – large enough to comfortably carry the kit you’ll need on the walk
  • Ruc sac Liner – strong bin liners are sufficient
  • Water bottle/flask – minimum 1 Litre. Water can sometimes be scarce at higher elevations
  • Basic First aid kit – this should include a good blister kit/Anti-sceptic cream and plasters.
  • Collapsable walking poles.
  • Camera
  • Compass/head torch/Waterproof Map bag/ Map (we can supply depending on the area and where appropriate)
  • Small pair Binoculars
  • We do supply lunch but please bring extra energy bars if you wish.
